How to sing softly and keep your voice clear and consistent? | Classical singing lessons

(English Subtitles) In this video lesson, I answer the question from my subscriber about how to sing softly, but at the same time keep the sound consistent and stable, without losing the tone and clarity of the voice. The basis for singing PIANO (an Italian musical term for dynamically quiet sound) is based on several factors and skills:

- Correct and balanced operation of the diaphragm supporting your sound

- Ability to feel and sing with a narrow throat, conduct vocal muscles that narrow the larynx when sound is produced

- Start sounding after inhaling through the nose and keep the vocal position high visualising  "singing above the sound"

- Developing the technique of smooth sound comes through repetition of simple vocal elements

In this vocal lesson, I show you a few basic voice exercises that will help vocalists to keep their voice clear while singing soft sounds in an classical belcanto and pop singing styles.
